Depending on the type of booking you have made, our Terms & Conditions vary, so please read below before booking.

Exceptions to this policy are made on a case by case basis, by the owners of Terraform Studio.

T&C’s Casual Bookings & Artisan Workshops

CANCELLATIONS – Please mark your calendars with your booking date. All Casual Bookings sales are final and non-refundable. You must cancel 48 hours prior to the start of your booking, for a full credit to be offered (minus a $15 admin fee). A 50% credit will be given for any bookings with less thaan 48 hours notice. You must contact us via email at hello@terraformstudio.com.au

TRANSFER- If you can’t make it to your class, you’re always than welcome to invite a friend in your stead (membership bookings are excluded). You must email us, to transfer your ticket to someone new.

T&C’s Pottery Courses

Please select carefully when choosing your course date & time – we have a strict cancellation policy. 

CANCELLATIONS – We allow cancellations UP TO 1 week prior to the start of your chosen course date. You must notify us via email. We do not offer refunds/credits/cancellations after the commencement of the course. The fee to cancel your course is $200. The remaining balance paid (less $200 cancellation fee) will be credited to your original form of payment within 10 – 15 business days.

TRANSFER – If you are unable to attend your course, and are outside the cancellation period, you may transfer your ticket to another person for the duration of the course. This can only be done up to week 2 & the new student may need to pay additional fees to make up missed classes to continue progressing in the course.

MAKEUP CLASSES – If you need to make up a class during your course, you will get to choose 1 of 3 options below.
1) Makeup your lesson in another Group Class (provided there is space & the content/ages taught matches) 
2) Trade-in for an extra Practice Session instead 
3) Private/semi-private Makeup Lesson ($50 private discounted lesson on a day/time that suits you)

T&C’s Kiln Firings/Breakage/Colour

BREAKAGE – Clay is an incredibly delicate medium. In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Terraform Studio/Two Muddy Men do not offer refunds. We take extreme care with each artwork that gets made in our studio – whether it is made by a beginner’s or experienced hands – which is why our cracking/breakage rate at our studio is less than 1%.

Cracks & imperfections are part of the journey as you learn the medium. Even expert potters will still occasionally experience this same heartbreak – it is this delicate process that strangely adds appeal to the artform itself.

MISHANDLING – In the case were any ceramics break due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered. Refunds are limited to the price you paid for firing.

COLOUR – We have an elaborate system for tracking pieces through the kiln firings & even to ensure they get your requested colour. However, due to the volume of artworks that go through our studio, we do not offer refunds/remakes for colour. We mix all of our own glazes in small batches & have 2 different kilns – both which can lead to noticable variation in colour/surface texture/shine of the same glaze.
