Dive into the captivating world of sculpture in this casual pottery class on the Mandurah Foreshore! Please note that a nude model will be present. Suitable for adults 18+.

The Lesson – ​Over 2 hours, you will channel your inner Bernini as we sculpt the female form, using a relief sculpting technique. Relief sculpture allows you to almost ‘draw’ into the clay – giving your artwork new depth & dimension. Our talented instructors will guide you in the technique as you begin to understand the human form.

What is ​Relief Sculpture you say? Think of it like a gateway into sculpting – every great renaissance sculptor in history started with this technique! It is the perfect way for beginners to get started in 3D. Whether you are interested in drawing or sculpting, combine both into your clay canvas! All Clay and guidance is included – no pressure, no egos, no drama – just endless possibilities!

Knowledge Required – Beginner friendly.

What You Get – Clay and tools for the night are included. Instructor guidance. Your raw clay sculpture to take home.

BYO – You are welcome to bring a snack and a few bevys along.

Finishing Service is Not Included -​ While this workshop does not include firing, you do get to take your raw clay artwork home and continue working at your own pace. Once you are ready to immortalize it in the flames of our kiln, we offer a firing & glazing service – $25 per piece – is explained more here.
