Create your own Beer Stein – 2 designs to choose from – perfect for beginner! This collab, with Boundary Island Brewery, was inspired by our fellow beer lovers! Hint: Would also probably make an epic Father’s Day Gift!
Clay is hungry work – Each participant will get a Boundary Island Brewery tinny 🍺 (or non-alcoholic option) & German-Style pretzel 🥨 Please preorder your Boundary Island Brewery tinny flavour & note any dietary requirements at checkout.

Where – Shop 9 A Smart Street Mall on the Mandurah Foreshore!
What you make – We will have 2 designs for you to create – choose a horn shape or a more traditional style Bell. We have created 3 glaze combos for you to choose from on the day – Roasted Stout, Sparkling Shandy & Shipwreck!
Techniques – Learn the basics of slab construction, working with patterns, slip trailing, sgraffito. These techniques are slightly more advanced than our normal workshops but with a little extra help from our instructors, we will help you construct your stein!
Clay & firing – Includes all your clay, firing & glazing for your artwork. While this is a very delicate process, we are aiming to have all steins ready to enjoy at Boundary Island’s annual Oktoberfest Event- Friday 23 October. We appreciate your patience while we work hard to turnaround your artworks through this very delicate process. This firing service is explained more here.

If in the event you need to cancel your booking, please notify Get Muddy Workshops via email or the contact form on our homepage. The value of cancelled bookings. will be issued in the form of a credit. Credits can be redeemed for; another class or homewares. To receive a full credit (minus our $15 admin fee) for your booking, you must notify Get Muddy Workshops a minimum 48 hours, before the date of the event. If less than 48 hours notice is given, only 50% of the booking value will credited. No call/no shows will forfeit their right to any credit. Exceptions to this policy are made on a case-by-case basis, by the owners of Get Muddy Workshops.

This will be my second year attending the ‘Craft Beer and Clay’ workshop with Get Muddy. I had a great time and found the experience immensely rewarding, as a person with very little creative or artistic skill, I really enjoyed the technical aspects of the tasks.
This time around I am bringing a group of mates to enjoy the experience with me.
The staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the provided a lot of advice and support which goes a long way to making these classes begginer friendly.
The workshop can be a little time sensitive, so try to have an idea of how you would like to decorate your mug before arriving.
The classes are also a great early fathers day present.
